Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in laundering and cleaning, particularly in a hotel or hospitality setting.
Duties
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, common areas, and laundry facilities to uphold high cleanliness standards.
- Launder linens, towels, and other textiles using appropriate washing and drying techniques.
- Handle dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring garments are cleaned according to specifications.
- Inspect rooms and laundry items for damage or wear, reporting any issues to management promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and laundry products, notifying management when restocking is necessary.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of laundering techniques and care instructions for various fabrics.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and guests.
