Hotel Breakfast / Housekeeping Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team as well as assist housekeeping when needed. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our breakfast area is clean, well-stocked, and welcoming for guests. You will play a crucial role in providing excellent guest services, preparing food items, and maintaining food safety standards. Also minor cleaning upkeep of the lobby facility is also required. Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and dietary guidelines while adhering to food safety standards.
• Prepare and set up the breakfast area prior to guest arrival, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the breakfast and lobby area, including bussing tables, cleaning surfaces, taking out trash, sweep/mop etc.
• Provide exceptional guest relations by greeting guests warmly and assisting with any inquiries or requests.
• Monitor food inventory levels and restock items as necessary to ensure a continuous supply of breakfast offerings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and dietary guidelines is a plus.
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Basic food preparation skills, including knife handling and prep cooking techniques.
• Must be able to work early morning shifts, including weekends as needed.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
