Front Desk Clerk

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team at a prestigious resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival and check them in efficiently while ensuring all necessary information is collected.
• Handle guest inquiries and provide information about the resort's amenities, services, and local attractions.
• Manage phone systems to answer calls promptly and assist with reservations or guest requests.
• Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions in the hotel management system.
• Address guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy, striving to enhance their experience.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
• Assist with check-out procedures, including processing payments and providing receipts.
• Promote hotel services and upsell additional offerings to enhance guest satisfaction.

Skills

• Proven experience in a front desk role within a hotel or resort environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of phone etiquette and effective communication skills.
• Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.
• Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to handle diverse situations gracefully.
• Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
