Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to join our hospitality team at our esteemed hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong guest service skills, hospitality management knowledge, and the ability to manage overnight operations efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring smooth night-time hotel operations, accurate financial reporting, and exceptional guest experiences during overnight hours. Multilingual abilities and hotel management experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and team coordination.
Duties
- Perform nightly audit procedures, including balancing accounts and reconciling transactions to ensure financial accuracy
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries
- Handle guest requests with professionalism and courtesy, providing excellent guest services and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain security of the hotel premises by monitoring surveillance systems and conducting safety checks
- Utilize multi-line phone systems to respond to guest calls and coordinate with other departments
- Prepare detailed reports on daily financial activities and operational issues for management review
- Ensure all hotel policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to during night shifts
- Assist with administrative tasks such as updating guest records and managing reservations as needed
- Once trained, days are set, you work 7 days on then 7 days off, split between 2 weeks.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel operations is preferred
- Proven background in night audit or front desk roles within a resort or hotel setting
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and guest services excellence
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, facilitating communication with diverse guests
- Familiarity with hotel management software and multi-line phone systems is advantageous
- Excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor required for handling guest interactions during overnight hours
