- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on appliances, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and other machinery using schematics and technical manuals.
- Troubleshoot complex equipment failures by interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and operational data.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, belts, filters, valves, and electrical wiring to restore equipment functionality swiftly.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects by installing new systems or upgrading existing infrastructure.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Lead or assist in training team members on proper maintenance procedures and safety protocols to foster a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting and repair purposes.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment is essential.
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance across various systems.
