Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization to maintain a spotless environment.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency.
• Maintain floor care by shampooing carpets, waxing floors, and applying appropriate cleaning techniques to preserve flooring quality.
• Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed in kitchens and bathrooms to promote health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally.
• Manage residential or commercial cleaning tasks with precision, including trash removal, window cleaning, and organizing clutter.
• Support housekeeping management by adhering to schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards to ensure consistent service delivery.

Experience

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is highly desirable, especially in residential or hotel settings.
• Experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeper roles that involve detailed cleaning procedures.
• Familiarity with various cleaning tools and products used for sanitation, floor care, carpet cleaning, and laundry operations.
• Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus for those interested in supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents or clients.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, and bending frequently.
