Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as In Home Caregivers. As an In Home Caregiver, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need within the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals
- Help with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and outings
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of care practices in various settings such as inpatient, outpatient, clinics, and hospitals
- Familiarity with working in environments like teaching hospitals, Level I Trauma Centers, Emergency Medicine departments, PICU, Hospital Medicine, and Geriatrics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with empathy and professionalism
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus
