HVAC Dispatcher / CSR
Location: New Orleans, LA (based in Harahan; primarily on-site, with hybrid flexibility for experienced candidates)
Pay: $18.00-$22.00/hour performance incentives
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Comfort Engineered Systems is hiring a Service Dispatcher / CSR to manage the flow of daily operations by connecting customers, technicians, and schedules in a way that keeps everything running efficiently.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the pace of home services and can confidently handle shifting priorities, tight timelines, and constant communication. You'll play a central role in making sure jobs are scheduled, technicians are supported, and customers stay informed from start to finish.

Core Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assign service calls to technicians throughout the day
- Build and adjust schedules to improve route efficiency and job completion times
- Handle inbound customer communication and booking requests
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding arrival windows and changes
- Track open jobs, schedule follow-ups, and ensure nothing slips through
- Keep customer and job data accurate across internal systems
- Assist with billing workflows, including invoicing and payment tracking
- Partner with internal teams to improve scheduling, communication, and service delivery

What We're Looking for:
- 1-3 years of experience in dispatching, scheduling, or customer-facing operations
- Background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or similar field service industries preferred
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Comfortable navigating multiple software platforms and tools
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with dispatch or field service management software (ServiceTitan or similar)
- Prior experience coordinating technician routes and service schedules
