Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Dental Assistant to support our hygiene team primarily on Fridays. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and maintaining efficient clinic operations. Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments and equipment according to infection prevention management protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-ray images, ensuring proper technique and adherence to dental sterilization procedures.
- Manage patient records accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collect vital signs and medical history information from patients to support comprehensive dental care.
- Provide chairside assistance by handling dental instruments, managing dental equipment, and supporting four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Support patient management by scheduling appointments, updating medical documentation, and ensuring clinical confidentiality policies are followed.
