A House Manager in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and compliant care, and maintaining a positive, supportive environment.
- Supervise all staff, including direct care staff, ensuring they meet quality care standards and comply with state regulations
- Coordinate and review resident care plans, ensuring they are up to date and meet individual needs
- Maintain accurate daily journals, medical records, and compliance documentation
- Monitor resident health, safety, and satisfaction, intervening promptly in any issues
- Ensure residents’ needs—such as meals, hygiene, and personal care—are met promptly and respectfully
- Prepare and oversee weekly menus, accommodating dietary restrictions
- Maintain accurate staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Keep residents’ families informed about their loved ones’ well-being and address concerns promptly
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA
- Complete timely and accurate reports, evaluations, and records as required by licensing authorities
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
