Duties

- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas to ensure food safety compliance
- Support the cooking process by operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dietary department, dietary aide role, or restaurant setting is highly preferred
- Strong food preparation, cooking, and food handling skills with excellent knife skills
- Knowledge of menu planning and meal preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Experience in catering or serving is a plus, demonstrating versatility in food service environments
