Job Summary
Diamond Age Center is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities. Our Adult Day Services program promotes independence, dignity, and meaningful daily engagement in a safe and supportive environment.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Adult Day Services Director to lead and manage our program. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with Ohio regulations, supervise staff, and create a positive, enriching environment for participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Adult Day Services program
- Ensure compliance with Ohio Department of Aging and applicable regulations
- Supervise, train, and evaluate program staff
- Develop and implement engaging, person-centered activity programs
- Coordinate participant admissions, assessments, and individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and records
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and program resources
- Build strong relationships with participants, families, and community partners
- Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Nursing, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in adult day services, healthcare, or senior care
- Previous supervisory or management experience required
- Supervisory and/or developmental disabilities experience required
- Knowledge of Adult Day Services regulations in Ohio
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Driver’s License and valid auto insurance
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical
