Job Summary:
The Caregiver provides clients various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence.
Essential Functions:
- Personal Care/ Ambulation
- Provide assistance with bed bathing, changing , personal care.
- Provide transfer from bed to chair. (must be experience in transfers)
- Provide assistance with basic activities of daily living, provide companionship
- Companion/Sitter/Household Management
- Provide companionship and respite services for family
- Perform homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms
- Medication Assistance Services (with RN supervision and delegation)
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
1 yr caregiving experience
