What You'll Do
Personal Care Services
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including:
- Bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Nail, skin, oral, foot, and hair care
- Safe mobility assistance, ambulation, and transfers
- Range-of-motion exercises
- Use of assistive devices such as walkers, canes, and crutches
- Toileting assistance and incontinence care
- Meal planning, preparation, and feeding assistance
- Providing companionship, emotional support, and meaningful conversation
- Encouraging participation in recreational and social activities
- Maintaining accurate client documentation
- Following agency policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures
Household Support
- Help clients maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment through:
- Light housekeeping
- Changing bed linens
- Sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and mopping
- Kitchen cleaning and dishwashing
- Bathroom cleaning
- Personal laundry for the client
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Other agreed-upon household support services

What We're Looking For

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but caring hearts are always welcome
- Passion for serving others and helping clients live their best possible lives
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience providing care to seniors in a home care or facility setting
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current CPR certification
- Negative TB (PPD) test results or chest X-ray
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
- CNA certification (preferred but not required)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely assist clients with mobility, transfers, and personal care needs
- Sufficient physical, visual, and hearing abilities to provide quality care and ensure client safety
- Ability to perform job duties in accordance with agency policies and client care plans
