Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Bilingual Sales Representative to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service while promoting our products in a retail environment, particularly within grocery stores. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and another language, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for sales. You will be responsible for engaging with customers, conducting product demonstrations, and driving sales through effective upselling techniques.
Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and product selection.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits.
- Utilize effective phone etiquette to communicate with customers and resolve any issues.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including processing transactions accurately.
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and ensuring displays are visually appealing.
- Supervise team members when necessary, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Implement upselling strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
- Perform retail math calculations to assist with inventory management and sales reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling and customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to perform product demos effectively to engage customers.
- Experience with merchandising and stocking in a retail setting is a plus.
- Supervising experience is desirable but not mandatory.
