Ethnix Group is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Route Leader to join our team. This position is responsible for leading daily route operations, delivering food and beverage products, providing outstanding customer service, and ensuring accurate product deliveries and payment collections.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication skills, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable performing physical work throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily delivery route operations.
- Deliver food and beverage products to grocery stores, restaurants, and other customer locations.
- Collect customer payments and accurately reconcile invoices and route documentation.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service.
- Train and support route team members while promoting a positive work environment.
- Safely load, unload, and deliver products while following company safety procedures.
- Perform touch freight duties, including lifting, carrying, and moving products.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and route documentation.
- Communicate effectively with Warehouse, Operations, Sales, and other departments.
- Identify opportunities to grow sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in route delivery, DSD, food distribution, or a similar role is required.
- Fluent Spanish is REQUIRED. English proficiency is preferred.
- Experience collecting customer payments and handling cash is required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be comfortable performing touch freight and physically demanding work.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles is preferred.
- Basic math skills and the ability to accurately reconcile invoices and payments.
- Ability to work independently while managing daily route responsibilities.
