Flooring Installer / Construction Technician – Paid Training

About the Role

Comer & Cross Concrete Coatings is growing our Philadelphia-area production team and is looking for experienced flooring installers, construction professionals, and crew leaders to work out of our Huntingdon Valley, PA warehouse.

This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working hard, leading by example, and producing high-quality work in residential and commercial environments.

Experience with epoxy flooring or concrete coatings is strongly preferred, but we are also interested in candidates with solid experience in flooring, concrete, painting, masonry, remodeling, restoration, or other skilled construction trades.

We provide paid training on our installation systems and processes.

What You'll Do

• Lead and work alongside an installation crew
• Install epoxy and polyaspartic concrete coating systems
• Prepare concrete using professional grinding and surface-preparation equipment
• Perform crack repair, patching, and concrete preparation
• Operate grinders, vacuums, mixers, and other installation equipment
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Maintain company trucks, trailers, tools, and job-site equipment
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers
• Help train and mentor newer technicians
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites

Experience We're Looking For

Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:

• Epoxy flooring
• Polyaspartic flooring systems
• Concrete coatings
• Flooring installation
• Concrete finishing or repair
• Decorative concrete
• Painting or coatings
• Masonry
• Remodeling
• Restoration
• General construction
• Crew leadership or foreman experience

Direct epoxy or concrete-coatings experience is preferred for Lead positions, but experienced tradespeople with strong leadership skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

This position uses a production / commission-based compensation structure.

Potential weekly earnings: $1,000–$2,200

Actual earnings depend on production, workload, experience, and performance.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation to our Huntingdon Valley warehouse
• Ability to safely drive company trucks and trailers
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
• Comfortable traveling to job sites throughout the Philadelphia market
• Occasional overnight travel when needed
• Dependable attendance
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
• Professional communication with customers and coworkers

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Day shift
• Occasional Saturdays based on production needs

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
