Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents effectively to clean floors, carpets, surfaces, and fixtures
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when applicable, including trash removal and surface cleaning
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and address any special requests or concerns
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, equipment operation, floor care techniques, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with excellent dusting, surface cleaning, and floor maintenance skills
