CORE RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Assist in supporting state and local legislative policy team work, including processing of legislation intake, data entry, managing deadlines, management of internal and commercial bill trackers, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Complex data entry and email management for legislative bill trackers.
- Assist in ensuring that timelines deadlines are met for bill reviews.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Assist in ensuring internal systems and processes meet the needs of the policy team, subject matter experts, and the field team to ensure efficiency and effective responsiveness.
- Recommends changes to improve processes and alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication.
- Other duties as assigned.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven excellent project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional time management and strong eye for detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, as well as organize, analyze, and synthesize large sets of information into various usable formats.
- Proven exceptional consulting, facilitation, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and represent Comcast in a positive, professional manner.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, able to effectively communicate both in written and oral form.
- Experience in developing platforms for internal processes.
- Knowledge of the state legislative process is very helpful as the understanding of critical external legislative deadlines is helpful.
- Knowledge and experience with Smartsheet is helpful.
EDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor’s Degree.
YEARS EXPERIENCE: 5 years
