Position Summary:
The Product Manager will lead the strategy, roadmap, and ongoing improvements for CPC's tablet product. This role collaborates with development, QA, sales, support, and external vendors to deliver high-quality features, service integrations, and customer-focused solutions. The Product Manager gathers requirements, prioritizes enhancements, supports releases, and ensures products operate reliably across facilities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, cross-team collaboration, and shaping innovative, user-driven technology in a fast-growing environment.
Product Ownership and Strategy:
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap, aligning it with business goals and customer needs.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Drive innovation by exploring new technologies, features, and industry trends.
- Define clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Monitor platform health, usage patterns, and key performance indicators.
- Serve as a product expert for internal teams and facility partners.
- Translate customer needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
- Analyze data, metrics, and user behavior to drive business and product decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with development to plan releases, clarify requirements, and validate solutions.
- Collaborate with QA and actively participate in testing to ensure comprehensive validation of new features, bug fixes, and service integrations
- Assist sales, support, and operations teams with product documentation, training, and escalations.
- Collaborate with vendors on service integrations, content partnerships, and third-party features, ensuring that all external solutions meet product requirements, align with security standards, and deliver meaningful value to end users.
Project Management:
- Coordinate timelines for new services, platform upgrades, and feature rollouts.
- Monitor deployment schedules, communicate changes, and track progress against deadlines.
- Manage pilot programs, beta releases, and customer rollout schedules.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of product management, project management, or related technical experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience managing product backlogs, roadmaps, and prioritization frameworks.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and release processes.
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and backend system workflows.
- Experience working closely with development, QA, design, and operational teams.
- Experience working with mobile operating systems (Android and iOS) and using device management tools such as Hexnode or similar MDM platforms.
- Experience in high-availability, compliance-driven environments.
