We are seeking motivated and dependable individual to join our team as Food Service Assistant Manager at the Delaware County Detention Center. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into a leadership role while gaining hands-on experience in food service operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following duties, including but not limited to:

• Performing standard supervisory duties
• Coordinating weekly inventory counts
• Placing product orders through NetMenu
• Verifying and receiving product deliveries within NetMenu
• Executing daily menu recipes
• Compiling weekly financial data based on the floating menu and reported inmate counts
• Manage daily kitchen operations, food prep, and meal service
• Supervise kitchen staff and inmate workers
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health standards
• Maintain organized, efficient kitchen workflows
• Follow facility safety and security procedures
• Plan and execute menus based on guidelines and budget
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and enforce policies
• Previous food service experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work in a secure correctional facility environment
