What You'll Do
- Indirect Spend Analysis:
- Analyze financial data to assess spending patterns across categories, vendors, and locations.
- Identify key decision-makers impacting indirect spending.
- Purchasing Support:
- Assist in implementing Oracle's Purchasing functionality.
- Contribute to data collection and testing efforts.
- Assist with reviewing chemical/components orders and expedites, especially for new product launches.
- Ensure correct quantities are on order and request expedites when needed
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Extract insights from financial data and generate reports.
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare progress reports.
- Analyze market trends and summarize competitor activities for upcoming RFPs.
- Project Support:
- Assist in centralizing spend management and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Review all existing procurement SOPs and make changes as directed.
- Create flow charts of all existing processes impacting artwork creation, changes, and approval involving various departments.
- Supplier Management:
- Conduct supplier research and gather performance data.
- Coordinate routine supplier inquiries and communications.
- Document current processes and suggest improvements.
- Administrative Support:
- Create an acronym list for all brands to assist with meetings.
- Provide a list of what you would like to learn through the process.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analysis tools.
- Data manipulation skills, like pivot tables or Power BI
- Willingness to be coached, led, and guided by supervisors throughout the internship.
