Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Professional to join our team. The position will be part-time initially with the potential to become full-time. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting business operations through sound financial management.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform day-to-day accounting operations including general journal entries, customer billing, accounts receivable and payable.
· Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
· Reconcile domestic and international bank accounts.
· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
· Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
· Support external audits and tax filings.
· Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
· 3 years of accounting experience.
· Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
· Advanced Excel skills.
· Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred).
· Experience with inventory accounting and job costing. (Preferred)
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
