Job Title: Program’s Director – Mentoring & Adult Education
Reports to: Executive Director

Position Summary
The Program’s Director supervises and administers the mentoring program and adult education classes at Comanche Pathways. This role combines program coordination and direct services. The Program’s Director will manage teams of volunteers who help provide program services. They will report directly to and work in partnership with the Executive Director to develop, monitor and evaluate the program’s impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and work together with volunteer mentors to provide mentoring services to Pathway’s clients
- Manage scheduling, responding to mentoring inquiries, making referrals as necessary
- Facilitate intake, well-being evaluation, and goals setting
- Monitor client progress by developing and implementing plans for improved well-being and collaborate with partner organizations
- Digitally track client’s progress on their plans and report client progress, successes, challenges and gaps in services to the Executive Director
- Lead monthly support meetings for volunteer mentors with emphasis on self-care and continued learning
- Oversee adult education programs
- Coordinate enrollment, scheduling, and classroom logistics
- Manage and support volunteers who lead adult education classes
- Monitor participant outcomes and prepare regular progress reports
Administrative Duties
- Stay current with trends and best practices related to Pathway’s programs
- Manage a small program’s budget for financial assistance and program supplies/materials
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality and privacy laws
- Support grant reporting through accurate data and narratives
Qualifications
- Educational Requirements: Master's/Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling preferred or Professional Life Coach Certification
- Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients, volunteers and service providers
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address diverse client situations
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and responsibilities simultaneously
- Experience supervising volunteers or staff
- Proficiency in using technology and the ability and willingness to learn new software as necessary
