SCOPE OF POSITION:
The IT Database Administrator is responsible for support to staff on all company supported databases. The IT Database Administrators performance is necessary for the casino to reach its full potential in providing a superior entertainment experience for its guests
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following are major duties and are not intended to be all inclusive or restrictive.
- Troubleshoot systems and application to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
- Verify all SQL server instances are up, review SQL Server error logs. Verify all scheduled jobs have run successfully.
- Create and establish report servers and maintain reporting services.
- Extract and/or load data.
- Set up cybersecurity measures.
- Perform and/or oversee software installation and upgrades.
- Answer staff questions in person and via phone on all company supported applications equipment and software.
- Ensure hardware and software is updated.
- Monitor the performance of hardware and software.
- Configure servers and databases while preserving data integrity.
- Ethically handle private data, including financial and/or healthcare data.
- Maintain confidentiality of the information being processed, stored, or accessed by the network and other sensitive information learned while performing duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
The IT Database Administrator has no supervisory duties.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
The IT Database Administrator regularly communicates and exchanges information with coworkers and guests. The IT Database Administrator is required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Work is performed throughout all areas of the facility where there may be flashing lights and the noise levels vary from quiet to loud depending on the time of day, the specific location, business. The IT Database Administrator must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and be able to work in a smoke-filled environment. The workplace is also under constant surveillance both inside and outside the facility.
The IT Database Administrator may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with difficult guests and staff members.

Qualifications:EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Four (4) year degree in Computer Science or related area from four-year college or university; or
- Two (2) years related experience and/or SQL training; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience (6 years).
Salary : $72,894 - $116,631
