Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Pay Rate: $57/hr

Overtime: After 40 hours/week

Bed Size: 150–500

Trauma Level: Level 2

Position Urgency: Quick Start

Available Shifts:

• Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday–Friday, No Call)
• Evening Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday–Friday, No Call)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Active Oklahoma RN License (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)

Certifications Required:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and high-quality patient-centered care in the perioperative setting. The RN acts as a patient advocate and ensures adherence to surgical nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients across all age groups (pediatric to geriatric)
• Perform comprehensive assessments and reassessments, including pain management
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to OR protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, LPNs, and interdisciplinary teams
• Manage workload, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing assignments
• Participate in training and maintain clinical competency
• Ensure compliance with professional nursing standards and facility policies
