Available Shifts:
- Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday–Friday, No Call)
- Evening Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday–Friday, No Call)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
- Active Oklahoma RN License (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and high-quality patient-centered care in the perioperative setting. The RN acts as a patient advocate and ensures adherence to surgical nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients across all age groups (pediatric to geriatric)
- Perform comprehensive assessments and reassessments, including pain management
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain sterile technique and adhere to OR protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, LPNs, and interdisciplinary teams
- Manage workload, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing assignments
- Participate in training and maintain clinical competency
- Ensure compliance with professional nursing standards and facility policies
