DEFINITION:
The Long Term Care Supervisor is responsible for administering quality care services for long term care residents, supervising nursing activities and ensuring the residents and patients comfort under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. The Long Term Care Supervisor will work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure quality customer service and compliance with all federal and state regulations. The Long Term Care Supervisor will manage communications between nurses and physicians and ensure that nurses follow regulations and policies.
REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE):
Authorized to practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Oklahoma.
