We are seeking a meticulous Drafter to join their team and take on the critical task of preparing complex drafting and detailing assignments for pressure vessels and modular skids. In this role, you will work closely with engineering and project managers, producing detailed isometric drawings and comprehensive bills of materials. This position requires both independent work and collaborative effort to ensure project success while adhering to safety and confidentiality protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and complete detailed drawing packages, including P&ID and isometric fabrication drawings for pressure vessels and skids, ensuring high accuracy and clarity.
Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to gather requirements and refine designs for complex projects.
Generate comprehensive bills of materials that support the fabrication process and ensure all components are accounted for and correctly specified.
Utilize advanced software tools such as AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor to create and modify 3D models and structural layouts, contributing to project efficiencies.
Maintain high standards of safety and confidentiality throughout all drafting processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting with a strong focus on pressure vessel and modular skid design, utilizing AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
Proven ability to create detailed 3D modeling and isometric drawings, showcasing an understanding of fabrication processes and standards.
Strong mathematical skills to accurately calculate dimensions, allowances, and other technical specifications necessary for drafting tasks.
Experience generating bills of materials for engineering projects, with an emphasis on structural and piping components.
