Double Tree by Hilton Ocean Point Resort, a Colwen Hotels property, is seeking experienced and friendly Beach Server / Baristato join our team. General Responsibilities :
- Acknowledge and welcome each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting (use guest name whenever possible)
- Take orders from guests and deliver to appropriate person to execute
- Answer questions regarding the menu
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition
- Take food and beverage orders and deliver to the kitchen
- Delivers food, beverages, condiments and other requested items
- Ensure that food is prepared correctly and to the guest's satisfaction; return incorrect or improperly cooked items to the kitchen
- Collect plates and clear table as guests finish their meal
- Adhere to all applicable Colwen and brand standards for food and beverage service and compliance with state liquor policies
- Clean designated areas in accordance with defined procedures
- Ensure sideboards are adequately stocked
- Set tables to standards, and that all items are clean and in good repair
- Prepare guest checks and collect payment
- Assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments
- Perform other related duties as assigned, you may required to perform a variety or duties in multiple departments during a shift
