Colville, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanic III to join our Fairbanks shop. If you are a skilled diesel or heavy equipment mechanic who takes pride in quality work and wants a stable, non-rotational position, we want to hear from you.

What You Will Do
- Perform advanced diagnostics and major repairs on light- and heavy-duty trucks and equipment
- Complete preventative maintenance and DOT annual inspections
- Troubleshoot engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, suspension, and steering systems
- Rebuild engines, transmissions, and differentials
- Utilize diagnostic software such as Cat ET, Cummins Insight, Davies, and ESA
- Assist with fabrication and welding as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Accurately document repairs and maintenance activities
What You Bring
- 5 years of diesel or heavy equipment mechanic experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Ability to work extended hours when needed
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- ASE Certifications or diesel technology training
- Experience with Class 8 trucks and mixed fleets
