Job Summary

Job Summary

Colusa County Office of Education is recruiting for a Health Specialist who can oversee and maintain high-quality health, oral health, and nutrition services that are developmentally and culturally appropriate and that support the growth and development of all children ages 0-5 years. Communicate with parents regarding healthy development, and coordinate and collaborate with community partners. Ensure program performance standards and requirements are monitored and followed throughout health services.

Requirements / Qualifications

CURRENT ASSIGNMENT LOCATION: Children’s Services Main Office SALARY: $26.57 - $33.93 per hour HOURS/DAYS: 8 hours per day, 261 days per year BENEFITS: Partially paid medical, dental and vision benefits; paid sick and vacation leave; CalPERS retirement EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: BA/BS in Health related field and two years of experience in field of expertise. LICENSES & REQUIREMENTS: Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate Preschool Audiometric and Vision Screening Certification. May be obtained as part of employment. The successful candidate will be required to provide DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance, TB test clearance, a valid California driver’s license, and immunizations as described on complete job description following acceptance of job offer. KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
