Job Summary:

As you will provide direct patient care for all lab procedures / processing and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of urological care for our patients. Responsibilities:
-Perform venipunctures, urinalysis efficiently and accurately on patients
- Operate Laboratory Machines/ Equipment
- Record patient vital signs
-Label and process specimens and ensure the lab operates in full compliance with CLIA, HIPPA and OSHA regulations
- Accurately enter patient information and test orders
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information in electronic medical records.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to infection control standards
- Utilize ICD-10 coding system for accurate documentation and billing purposes
Skills:
- Knowledge of standard lab processing and ability to apply them in a clinical setting
