Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.
- Develop and maintain test data, test environments, and test execution reports.
- Perform API testing and automation where required.
- Ensure test coverage, test reliability, and maintainability of automation assets.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to automation best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5 10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience in designing automation frameworks from scratch.
Hands-on experience with:
- Playwright
- Selenium (preferred)
- REST API testing
- Git/GitHub/GitLab
- Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
- Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Experience in testing microservices and cloud-based applications.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Experience working in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
