Looking for a Part-Time I Imaging Registrar for Advanced Imaging located in Whiteville, NC
Shift: M-Tu: 7a-5:30p W: 8a-12p
Job Description: Performs a variety of receptionist, clerical, and organizing support services for the department. Pre-registers patients, gathering all relevant insurance and medical information. Maintains files and is responsible for disseminating radiological reports to appropriate parties. Maintains confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate.
- Proficient in use of keyboard and word processing software.
- Ability to operate standard office machines (fax, copiers, telephone, etc.)
Experience: No previous experience required. Previous medical insurance experience and knowledge of medical terminology is preferred. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within 3 months.
