We are looking to hire a Full-Time Registered Nurse for our Operating Room
Shift: 6:30am-7:00pm M-F
6:30a-7:00pm 3 days/week
Job Description: Provides professional nursing care pre-operatively. Acts as circulating nurse and scrub nurse. Performs specified duties for the set-up and maintenance of surgical areas, equipment and instruments. Performs functions in endoscopy, cystology, orthopedics, vascular, and general surgical cases. Provides relief coverage in PACU.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
- Current and valid NC or compact state license to practice professional nursing.
- BCLS certified.
- Incumbent will be required to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to all age groups of patients.
Preferred: BSN; MSN; One year of previous experience as an RN; new graduates will be considered.
Experience: One year of previous experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care unit preferred but not required. Given training and on-the-job experience incumbent should be proficient in basic aspects of the job in 6 months.
