- A member of the Columbus Regional Health Physicians team, OB/GYN Associates of Columbus, is a fast-paced practice with 6 providers and averages 80 patients a day.
- OB/GYN Associates of Columbus treats women throughout all the stages of their life.
- Performs routine and special phlebotomy procedures. The position's primary customers are the patients (newborns, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric) nursing staff, physicians, other non-nursing hospital departments, contract accounts (e.g. nursing homes), physician's office staff,community and other lab departments. Suppliers include nursing departments, physicians, pathologists, physician's offices and lab personnel.
- Performs business functions that are essential to lab operations, e.g., patient registration, order entry, nursing home records management, supply management for department and clients, etc.
- The base hourly rate for this position is $15.00. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
- This full-time position would require you to work Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM.
What is required for this position:
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- One to three months related experience and/or training preferred- CRH does offer on the job training.
- Phlebotomy orientation required within 6 months of hire.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
- Phlebotomy certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
