Sign-on Bonus: $15,000
Job Summary:
Performs screening mammography exams in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Work Shift:
- Full Time
- First Shift (7:30AM - 4:00PM)
- Weekdays Only (Half-Day Fridays)
Role Functions:
- Collects patient’s clinical history and provides valuable patient education.
- Maintains cleanliness and care of Mammography equipment, including performing Quality Control procedures as needed.
- Operates mammography equipment to produce quality diagnostic images without supervision.
- Applies principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patient, self, and others.
- Cooperates with other clinical staff for seamless patient care.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Associates from an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) accredited institute (preferred)
Licensure/Certification:
- ARRT Certification, Radiology (required) and Mammography (preferred)
- Ohio Radiology License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, required prior to direct patient care)
Experience:
- Previous experience in health care setting (required)
- One year of experience as mammography technologist (preferred)
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) (preferred)
- Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) (preferred)
Any technologist applying without previous MQSA qualifying training will be required to obtain this training prior to patient care. Columbus OBGYN will assist with setup and reimbursement.

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
