 ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
For purposes of 42 USC 12101: 

60% (1) Assist Landlord Relations Supervisor in
receiving and responding to landlord inquiries.
Mediate inquiries between landlords and tenants concerning procedures
and HUD policy as needed.
Work with
Landlord Relations Supervisor to serve as a spokesperson for Housing Choice
Voucher Program as needed.
Conduct
landlord briefings and recruit services of prospective landlords as
needed.
Maintain positive relationships
with current landlords and build trust in working to resolve all inquiries
efficiently and effectively.
 

25% (2)
Assist Landlord Relations Supervisor with inquiries pertaining but not limited
to: change of ownership, new vendor registrations, vendor address/phone
changes, ACH/EDS registration, management/POA/guardian changes, landlord W-9
verifications, vendor questions/concerns (walk-ins and phone calls), manages
HCV Landlord Email account and all general inquiries.
 

 (3) Provides
leadership support, trains new employees, and oversees the work quality of the
Contracts Department.
 

10% (4)
Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that
pertain to essential functions. 
 

 (5)
Demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain effective working
relationships with subordinates, coworkers, and persons outside the authority.
 

 (6)
Ability to prepare clear and concise narrative and statistical reports and deal
effectively with situations requiring the tact and diplomacy, yet firmness.
 

 (7)
Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
Demonstrates the ability to work remotely.

MINIMUM

Must be able to
work independently; must have strong written and oral communication skills;
ability to engage a wide variety of people with a high level of professionalism
and courtesy; must be able to work effectively in sometimes hostile
environments. Must be able to deescalate
in situations of conflict; Must present a professional image as a
representative of CMHA; *Agency/department goals and objectives; *Agency/department
policies and procedures; *personnel rules and regulations; update and report to
management on state of Franklin County rental market; general knowledge of
local geographical area; strong English grammar and spelling; 

Skill in: word
processing; computer operation; use of modern office equipment; putting
together presentations; project management; community relations. 

Ability to: pay
attention to detail; 
interpret a
variety of instructions in written, oral, picture, or schedule form; deal with
many variables and determine specific action; navigate landlords through CMHA
housing procedures in accordance to HUD regulations and CMHA administrative
plan; define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions;
exercise independent judgment and discretion; understand, interpret, and apply
laws, rules, or regulations to specific situations; read, copy, and records
figures accurately; copy records precisely without error; complete forms; prepare
correspondence; compile and prepare reports; respond to inquiries from public
and/or officials; communicate effectively; understand a variety of written
and/or verbal communications; maintain records according to established
procedures; develop and maintain effective working relationships; resolve
complaints; travel to different locations to meet up with current and
prospective landlords; think logically in solving problems assigned; present
results with clarity and precision in writing and/or graphic form; multi-task;
design and maintain databases; define business requirements and organization
goals to build equity within the metropolitan area and strengthen client
relationships  

Salary : $58,000 - $60,600
