We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Public Space Attendant for our 2nd shift to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Reports to: Housekeeping Supervisor/Executive Housekeeper
Shift: 2nds (Weekend Availability)
Status: Full/Part Time
Starting Rate: $14.00 an hour
Position Summary
As a Public Space Attendant, you will play a key role in creating a clean and welcoming environment by maintaining the appearance of all public areas and supporting the housekeeping team to ensure a consistently high standard throughout the property.

Position Summary

Primary Responsibilities
The following are highlighted items and not meant to be all-inclusive of this position:
- Ensure the safety and security of all guests and their belongings at all times.
- Dust all ledges, surfaces, and frames throughout assigned areas.
- Clean and maintain all public restrooms and common/public areas to IHG Brand standards.
- Keep housekeeping storage areas and carts stocked, organized, and clean.
- Assist the housekeeping team by retrieving supplies, delivering items, and removing trash as needed.
- Periodically clean designated employee areas, especially those accessible to or visible by guests/clients.
- Responsible for collecting and removing dirty linens and trash from guest areas promptly.
- Maintain a clean, well-groomed, and professional appearance with consistent attention to personal hygiene and grooming, in accordance with the standards outlined in the employee handbook.
- Completes any direct assignment from the Manager/Supervisor.
- Previous hospitality/service industry experience preferred but not required.
- Prior housekeeping experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative. Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
- Professional, courteous, and team-oriented demeanor. Ability to work in a high paced environment and effectively multi-task.
- Able to stand and remain physically active for extended periods.
- Dedicated to providing excellent guest service and maintaining high standards.
