Commercial Door Shop Technician-Wood door's
Full Time Position – 40 Hours
Lead or assist with preparation of doors, frames and hardware in our production shop. A basic knowledge of door hardware is required.
Examples of Work Performed
- Prepare frames, doors and hardware for new commercial door units with panic hardware, closers, kick plates, thresholds & hardware accessories in our production shop. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills
- A basic mechanical knowledge of hand tools
- Basic construction knowledge and experience
- Able to communicate and take direction by written and verbal instructions
- Ability to maintain favorable working relations with fellow employees
Desirable Experience and Training
- Vocational – technical school training
- Must be in good physical condition able to lift minimum 100 lbs.
- Accuracy taking measurements and experience using a level
- Good attendance record and reliable
- Rhode Island Driver’s License and good driving record
- Pass a background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $800.00 - $900.00 per week
