SALARY: $42,175 - $60,251 Annually (For fully-qualified SW II)

Description: Performs social work activities in the Child Protective Services Unit. Duties include but not limited to Case Management, Assessment and Evaluation, Intake Services, develop case plans/goals and make appropriate referrals to other services agencies.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Considerable knowledge of social work principles, techniques and practices and their application to individual casework, behavioral problems and their treatment. Knowledge of governmental and private organizations and community resources. Knowledge of laws, regulations and policies which govern the program. Skills in establishing rapport with a client and applying techniques of assessing psychosocial, behavioral and psychological aspects of clients problems. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrative superiors, members of case load and their families, and with civic, medical, social, and religious organizations. Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely and to plan and execute work.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in social work from an accredited school of social work; Bachelors degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university and one year directly related experience; Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and two years directly related experience.
We will accept a work-against, which means we will hire a Social Worker trainee, or a Social Worker I work-against and train for the Social Worker II position.
