Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Columbus County Health Department is seeking a Nutrition Program Director in WIC. Provide direct education to patients in WIC, Family Planning, Adult Health and Child Health. The primary purpose of this position is to direct the operation of the WIC program management and direction of the CCHD WIC program and staff, while ensuring compliance with all federal and state, rules and regulations within that program. Providing medical nutrition therapy and consultation to other units within the Health Department. Providing community outreach and education as appropriate, and participating in CCHD programs and activities as needed
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in foods and nutrition, public health nutrition, or dietetics, and 3 years of program administration or supervisory experience plus the ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration, eligibility; or master's in public health nutrition or nutrition and two years of program administration or supervisory experience plus the ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration eligibility; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- REQUIREMENTS:** Considerable knowledge of WIC Program. Ability to maintain records, inventories. Computer skills.
