What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adaptive Physical Education position at Columbus City Schools?
The applicant will be responsible for instruction and supervision of students with disabilities in physical education. The applicant will work collaboratively as part o multidisciplinary team in the development of the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP). In addition, the applicant will create lesson plans and provide instruction according to state and/or national standards; prepare and distribute required student reports/record; individualize instruction according to the IEP, and provide student evaluations.
The applicant needs to have an Adaptive Physical Education certification.
