The intervention specialist is responsible for
developing and providing academic instruction for students
with special needs in an off-site non-public facility.
creating and implementing service plans
aiding academic achievement of students
collaborating with the general, education teacher and
providing accommodations in the general education classroom
creating and implementing intervention plans and recording
student progress including progress notes.
Communicate with classroom teachers, parents, families and
other stakeholders.
