Candidate must have the skills necessary to instruct students, in grades 9 to 12, following the U.S. Army’s Leadership Education Training (LET) program. Subjects taught include but are not limited to: Citizenship in American History & Government, Health & Wellness, Geography, Map Skills, Environmental Awareness, Leadership Theory and Application, Career Planning, High School Financial Planning and the Foundation of Army JROTC. The candidate needs the appropriate skills to manage and conduct the JROTC unit according to United States Army and Columbus City school district rules and regulations.
