Under general direction, is responsible for performing a full range of systems administration activities for large and/or complex operating systems that include planning, system and hardware design, configuration, implementation, and management of enterprise server systems; performs related duties as required.

- Administer and support cloud infrastructure environments in Azure and AWS, including virtual machines, storage, and networking configurations.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including user administration, licensing, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams support.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain EDR solutions, security analytics platforms, and infrastructure monitoring tools to enhance system security and performance.
- Provide administration, implementation, patching, and troubleshooting support for Linux and Windows desktop/server environments.
- Implement and support Microsoft Intune and Autopilot solutions for device provisioning, mobile device management, and policy enforcement.
- Manage physical and virtual server infrastructure, storage systems, backup/recovery solutions, disaster recovery planning, and security protocols.
- Develop and maintain API integrations and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and system interoperability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure operations, compliance initiatives, auditing activities, and enterprise technology projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in government and/or education compliance, risk management, policy development and training.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Thorough knowledge of computer operating systems and related hardware and software
- Thorough knowledge of scripting, TCP/IP networking, Ethernet technologies
- Thorough knowledge of systems administration practices such as system setups, account management, backup/restore, security, and applications and peripheral installations
- Considerable knowledge of networking principles and practices associated with local area networks
- Considerable knowledge of documentation and report writing procedures
- General knowledge of data base principles; general knowledge of programming capabilities and limitations
- Ability to plan and integrate information delivery systems with organizational objectives
- Ability to evaluate the capabilities of operating systems hardware and software
- Ability to perform system analysis and design
- Ability to diagnose and resolve problems with operating systems
- Ability to manage the time of others; ability to plan and coordinate the work of others
- Ability to develop priorities and work sequences
- Ability to convey complex technical knowledge while coaching junior staff members
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical personnel
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates, District officials, and computer vendors.
