Certified Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to become a part of our team at Columbus Children’s Clinic.

Join a team of 3 pediatricians and one physician assistant.

Responsibilities:

• Duties include but are not limited to:

· Rooming patients ( Obtaining history, vitals , etc.)
· Documenting relevant information in patient chart
· Administering vaccines, performing basic outpatient labs
· Tracking labs, doing referrals ,scanning, answering phones
· Organizing, setting up, and assisting for visits and in-office procedures
· Scheduling appointments and follow ups
· Stocking and cleaning rooms in between patients and the end of the shift
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year experience as a medical assistant, preferably in pediatrics.
• Comfortable using Electronic health records. Experience with eclinicalworks is a plus.
• Team player, and should be able to multi-task and adapt to changes with the current COVID 19 circumstance.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Staff wear masks at all times.Gloves, gowns and face shield when applicable per CDC guidelines. Parents and patients are recommended to wear masks when in the clinic.
