Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct engaging volleyball practices that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Lead the JV2 team during matches, implementing game strategies and motivating players to perform their best
- Foster a positive environment that encourages student participation, confidence, and personal growth
- Monitor player behavior and enforce team rules to promote respectful conduct and safety
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to coordinate schedules, events, and team activities
- Provide feedback to students on their performance and areas for improvement in a constructive manner
- Ensure all activities comply with school policies, safety standards, and sports regulations
Experience
- Prior experience coaching volleyball or other team sports at the youth or school level
- Background in sports coaching with knowledge of volleyball techniques and game rules
- Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or recreational settings
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies to maintain a positive team environment
- Demonstrated ability to motivate students while ensuring safety during all activities
