Duties
- Perform vehicle exterior washing, including hand washing and using automated car wash equipment, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and free of dirt or debris
- Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing using automotive buffers and polishing tools to restore shine and remove surface imperfections
- Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and vents to achieve a fresh, like-new appearance
- Operate manual transmissions and driving vehicles safely within the auto detailing facility or designated areas
- Use cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, and janitorial tools to maintain cleanliness standards throughout the facility
- Apply safe work practices when handling chemicals, buffers, and cleaning agents to prevent accidents or damage
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to equipment or vehicle parts while adhering to safety protocols
Requirements
- Prior experience in auto detailing, car wash operations, or custodial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of standard passenger car operation and safe work practices in an automotive environment
- Ability to perform vehicle paint correction and automotive buffing with automotive buffers or polishing tools
- Familiarity with vehicle interior detailing techniques and exterior washing procedures
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude toward clients and team members
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and use various cleaning tools effectively
- Valid driving license with clean driving record preferred for moving vehicles within the facility
