- Develop and implement dynamic curricula tailored to the developmental stages of children from toddlers to preschoolers, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that promote respect, cooperation, and independence.
- Plan engaging lesson plans that incorporate early intervention techniques, special education accommodations, and standardized testing preparations as needed.
- Provide attentive toddler care and support early childhood development by observing individual progress and adjusting activities accordingly.
- Manage daily classroom routines, including transitions, meal times, nap schedules, and outdoor play to ensure a structured yet flexible environment.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers through clear communication about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Maintain accurate records of student assessments, lesson plans, attendance, and other documentation necessary for child welfare and compliance standards.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Experience with curriculum development that integrates literacy education, math skills, physical education, and Montessori techniques.
- Proven classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively.
- Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings; familiarity with toddler care is highly valued.
- Ability to adapt lessons for children with special needs or requiring early intervention services.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators clearly and professionally.
